I am old! I remember my prom.. the butterflies in my stomach bursting with excitement. My oldest Jordan had his Senior Prom last Saturday. He brought his girlfriend of 3 years Molly. She was beautiful in her dress and together they were a good looking couple if I do say so myself. Her hair and red lipstick reminded me of Hollywood glam.... Jean Harlow. He looked all grown up in his tux.It just seems like yesterday he was a little boy needing help to tie his shoes.

The 18 Girl Scouts
Have you ever had a good idea and even after you put it in action it still was a good idea but you say to yourself... What was I thinking!!!!! That is the best way to describe Friday night. I design and teach for a local scrapbook store in my area. A couple of my students asked if I would create a Girl Scout book for their troop. Which I did and had a blast doing it. I am not exactly sure what I expected but I can describe the scene as TOTAL chaos but in a good way. Let me explain, when I teach, its adults. Some need a little help but adults no less. These little girls were 8 to 10 in age! I was definitely out of my element! The class went smooth enough, we only had 1 girl get sick and a couple of girls ran out of adhesive. All I can say is it was a messy , noisy, nervewrecking JOY. Oh, BTW... I would totally do it again :)

Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Mothers Day To All! I had a great day! David and the boys let me do what ever I wanted which was a whole lotta nada! I have such a hard time on Sundays when I work my 1 Saturday a month and all I want to do is rest. I have Jordan's graduation invitations all ready to go, they just need stamps. What a milestone it is to have an 18 year old almost graduate! We are so very proud of him... he has a very good head on his shoulders. A little dingy at times but a really good kid. Dylan is still trying to find his place in the world. My musical genius as I like to call him.. that kid can play a guitar. I am not very musical myself and he tries to explain how to play to me but its like he is talking in some foreign language only he understands. They are so different and special in their own way. I thank God for them everyday.
